The eighth Ocean Best Practices System Workshop (OBPS WSVIII) focuses on promoting best practices in operational oceanography, vital for interoperable ocean data and sustainable solutions. It includes plenaries on ocean knowledge, policy, and future perspectives, with workshop sessions addressing marine conservation, forecasting, and sustainable Blue Economy.

This session will explore 10 years of best practices in ocean research, diplomacy, and sustainable management. Discover outcomes from the 2024 All-Atlantic Forum, and gain insights into trans-Atlantic cooperation, partnerships, and how to actively contribute to ocean challenges and innovations. SER-Europe’s MRPO will be there to raise the importance of collaborative work in the marine space – and introduce the Marine Restoration Working Group as part of a panel discussion.
