SERA AWARDS FOR RESTORATION EXCELLENCE – 2021

The 2021 SERA Annual Awards are open to all those located in Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands. 

SERA’s Annual Awards categories for 2021 are:

(1) The SERA International Award for Restoration Excellence (2 sub categories)

(2) The Koonamore Student Award

(3) Albert Morris Award –  a collaboration with the Australian Association of Bush Regenerators and Barrier Field Naturalists’ Club.


2021 Awards (Darwin conference)

Large Project (>50 ha): North-east Bioregional Alliance for Skyline Tier project, Tasmania

Small Project (<50 ha): Wet Tropics Management Authority for the Mt Hypipamee Rainforest Restoration program, Queensland

SERA Koonamore Student Award: Aaron Eger (University of NSW) – for his work on the Kelp Forest Alliance

2021 Albert Morris Award:
 Marra Creek Waterponding Community for their Waterponding program in Nyngan NSW
