Each year, SERNW recognizes outstanding individuals and efforts in restoration throughout the northwest which includes Washington, Oregon, Montana, Idaho, Alaska, and Northern California.
The chapter typically gives out three awards in these categories:
- Restoration Practitioner or Team of the Year
- Restoration Project of the Year
- Indigenous Guided Project of the Year
The awards are presented at the Annual Member Meeting, hosted in the fall.
