Applications for the SERA 2026 Awards are officially open.
These awards recognise excellence in ecological restoration across Australia, with four categories open for entry:
- SERA Award for Ecological Restoration Excellence — Large Project (>50ha) — $1,500
- SERA Award for Ecological Restoration Excellence — Small Project (<50ha) — $1,500
- SERA Koonamore Student Award — $1,000
- Albert Morris Award for Outstanding Ecological Restoration (presented jointly with AABR and ANPC)
There’s no SERA membership requirement and no application fee, and previous finalists and winners are welcome to reapply. Applications are submitted via the conference portal, using the same process as a conference abstract.
Winners will be announced at the SERA 2026 Conference in Adelaide, 19–21 October.
