Important note on Continuing Education Credits (CEC’s):
“For the Love of Restoration: History and Adaptation, 14th Annual Chapter Meeting,
Society for Ecological Restoration – Midwest Great Lakes Chapter” was pre-approved
for 10 continuing education credits under SER’s Certified Ecological Restoration
Practitioner (CERP) program. The event has been added to the calendar on the SER
website (http://www.ser.org/events/ ).
We have also been pre-approved for CEC credits from the ISA (International Society of
Arboriculture). For information on all potential CEC credits from organizations, please

You will need to verify attendance/completion of the activity in order for attendees to
receive CECs. For SER, the most common verification types are either a
CERP/CERPIT sign-in sheet or a Certificate of Completion. All documentation must
include the date and title of the event.

CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDIT (CEC)
CHEAT SHEET
Portions of the 12th Annual Meeting were preapproved for continuing education credits (CECs)
from three organizations as outlined below. Attendees are required to complete an online survey to request credit for the sessions attended in lieu of sign-in sheets. Attendees seeking
CECs from the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) must be logged in and watch the
session live to receive credit, per ISA policy. Those seeking CECs from the Society for
Ecological Restoration (SER) and Society of American Foresters (SAF) may view sessions within
the three-month period that the presentations will be available online. There is a 10-credit
cap on CECs that can be earned for this event per SER policy.
To receive credits from ISA for live-viewed sessions and from the other organizations in a
timely manner, attendees must complete their survey request by Friday May 7, 2021 at
midnight EDT. To view recorded sessions later and receive credits from SER and SAF,
attendees must complete their survey request by Monday July 19, 2021 at midnight EDT.
