New Webinar Series: Connecting Research Methods to Fire Management Decisions
We like to highlight the activities of SER MWGL members and partner organizations and so in that vein, want to draw your attention to a new webinar series on “Connecting Research Methods to Fire Management Decisions” sponsored by the Tallgrass Prairie and Oak Savanna Fire Science Consortium (TPOS). The webinar series was announced by Craig Maier, SER MWGL chapter member and Project Coordinator of TPOS.

The first webinar in the series “Fire Science Literacy: How to better understand and communicate the wildland fire environment, was held February 19, 2019.
The Tallgrass Prairie and Oak Savanna Fire Science Consortium is as group of fire practitioners, scientists, outreach and extension specialists, volunteers, educators and enthusiasts from the Tallgrass Prairie and Oak Savanna Region. The group is headquartered in the Nelson Institute for Environmental Studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
