The Society for Ecological Restoration (SER) International Board of Directors met in Manchester, UK on August 21-22 prior to the SER 2015 World Conference. All outgoing and incoming Board members were in attendance.  SER staff Levi Wickwire and Hannah Boone were also in attendance. They had been hard at work preparing for the SER 2015 Manchester World Conference. The introduction of staff included Marguerite Nutter who is the new director for membership. Bethanie Walder, the new Executive Director of SER was introduced to the entire Board. As you know, Ms. Walder has been working on the global restructuring and is an exciting addition to the SER staff. The board heard updates from around the world-wide SER community including: Europe, Latin America, Asia, Australasia, students, Rocky Mountain Chapter, Texas and our own Midwest Great Lakes Chapter.
