Dr. Hauer has dedicated his 40+ years of research to the holistic understanding of these environments, and will speak to the crucial value of our rivers, streams and wetlands in North American ecosystems, with particular emphasis on the rivers of Alberta, British Columbia and Montana, and how these relate to regional biodiversity and climate change.
