The Green River Basin Landscape Conservation Design (LCD) Workshop 2 was recently held in Vernal, UT, to share vulnerability maps and discuss applications of the maps to support identification of conservation opportunities. This webinar will provide an overview of the topic covered in Vernal, including how to access vulnerability maps created for the LCD through Databasin, the collaborative process and input that drove the development of these maps, and applications of the maps.

Background
The spatial data products that will be shared in this webinar were informed by over two years of input from managers and other stakeholders, including a needs assessment, a workshop that took place in April of 2016 in Rock Springs, WY, and a series of technical webinars and work group calls. In this webinar, we will present vulnerability assessments for important ecosystems of the Green River Basin, discuss the analysis done to create these decision support tools, demonstrate how they can be used to answer key management questions and their applications for supporting identification of conservation opportunity areas. The Green River Basin LCD analysis area extends across about 48,000 square miles and spans portions of Utah, Colorado, and Wyoming. More information about the project can be found here.
