Grasslands Conservation and Restoration: The Lac du Bois Case Study

This presentation will focus on the collaborative approach required to identify candidate areas, develop a strategic plan for restoration activities, address challenges, and successfully implement actions. It’s also about working with various resource user groups, First Nations, tenure holders, government agencies, and NGOs to identify priorities and activities that meet a broad range of interests in an area where there has been a long-standing recognition of high conservation, cultural, historic, recreational, and socio-economic values: the Lac du Bois Grasslands Protected Area north of Kamloops, BC.
