The Saskatchewan Branch of the Canadian Water Resources Association is hosting a Flood Workshop on November 24 and 25, 2015 in Saskatoon. The broad objective of the workshop is to bring practitioners and scientists together to discuss flood management challenges/opportunities, cutting edge research, and relevant decision support tools. Sessions planned include Prairie and Mountain Hydrology, Climate Shifts, The Role of Wetlands on Prairie Runoff, Flood Damage Reduction, Quantifying/Measuring the Floods, and Flood Recovery.
