Risks to Wolseley & Winnipeg from Energy East Pipeline

If you live in Wolseley, West Broadway, St Matthews (Rob Altemeyer is your MLA), or just want to learn more about the Energy East pipeline, Manitoba Energy Justice Coalition (MEJC) is hosting a town hall meeting on Dec 10th to discuss the risks of TransCanada’s Energy East pipeline proposal to Winnipeg’s drinking water supply and the Shoal Lake Watershed. We will also discuss what residents can do about it.

We will talk about why it is dangerous to send dilbit from the tar sands down an old natural gas line. We will discuss how tar sands expansion is bad for Manitoba’s climate.
