Last November volunteers harvested willow cuttings for a riparian restoration project on our H.G. Lawrence property, now the time has come to get out and plant them!

Just us this spring and help improve the health of the local creek sytem by bringing back the willow. NCC conservation staff will provide you with a crash course on streambank restoration on how to plant willow livestakes before we set out together to get the job done.

As a special thank you, a light lunch will be provided for all participants (please specify any dietary restrictions when registering). You will also have the opportunity to learn more about NCC’s long-term conservation plans for the Red Deer River Natural Areaand enjoy the property’s beautiful lakefront views!
