Foothills Restoration Forum Range Health Assessment Training

The courses will provide an understanding of the importance of healthy functioning rangelands and the key indicators used to measure rangeland health; and also feature a curriculum flexible to a variety of experience levels.  The Range Health Assessment protocol is an important tool for pre-site assessments, reclamation design and vegetation monitoring in native grassland.

Whether attending for the first time or returning to sharpen your skills, consider spending a day working with our experienced field instructors and chatting with everybody over a tailgate lunch on the range.

We will continue to accept registrations until we can no longer supply enough coaches to maintain our instructor-student ratio. The registration fee is $125.00 per person (includes course materials and tailgate lunch).

Whether you register online or by email, credit card (Paypal) payments must be taken care of via one of the following links before the course dates.  If you are paying by cash or cheque (payable to SASCI) we can provide you with a mail address or accept payment at check-in the day of the course.

The first course will be on Tuesday, September 15^th 2015 at the Agriculture and Ag-Food Substation, Stavely, Alberta.  This full day course will provide training in the Foothills Fescue Natural Subregion.
