Maggie Skenderian is the Owner and Principle of Upstream Consulting LLC. Prior to starting her own firm in 2017, Maggie finished her 20-year career with the Portland’s Bureau of Environmental Services as the Eastside Watersheds Manager – a position she held for 10 years. At BES, Maggie’s job focused on implementing a comprehensive watershed restoration program in Johnson Creek, with an emphasis on floodplain restoration, salmon habitat restoration and water quality improvements. Her work also included planning and implementing multi-faceted green infrastructure and stormwater projects with a diverse set of stakeholders. Some of Maggie’s recent work involves creating a methodology for assessing the value of green infrastructure through an Asset Management inventory.
Maggie is a native New Englander and has a BS in Water Resources from the University of Vermont and an Executive Masters in Public Administration from Portland State University. She lives in SE Portland with her husband and two cats.
There is no charge for the event and you do not need to be an RRNW member to attend; however, we encourage you join RRNW.
