Course Description
New to R?
The purpose of this 1/2 workshop is to give you an introduction to R/RStudio so that you can take full advantage of the subsequent 3 day course: Stats Refresher for Biologists in “R”, see link HERE. This course may also be taken on it’s own.
Class size: Class size is limited to 16 people.
Bring: Laptop computer pre-loaded with software (Base R and RStudio (available for Mac, Linux, and Windows-systems). You should have version 3.1 or later. Instructions for install both packages are found at http://www.stat.sfu.ca/~cschwarz/CourseNotes/HowGetSoftware.html. Do NOT install R Commander, JMP, or SAS)
