Dutch Creek Watershed Riparian Restoration Field Days

Join Cows and Fish and the Oldman Watershed Council for some hands-on restoration along Dutch Creek in the Oldman River watershed. Enjoy a day of hard work and help improve riparian habitat for threatened Westslope Cutthroat Trout and Bull Trout.

We will meet at the Dutch Creek Provincial Recreation Area (campground) located approximately 40 km north of Coleman along the Forestry Trunk Road. FREE HOT LUNCH provided for registrants.

(October 24 will be an alternate day in the event of bad weather)

Volunteers needed!

  • No experience necessary and no registration fee!Have some experience?
  • Let us know if you have some experience in restoration and bioengineering.
  • Can you help with equipment? Please bring a shovel, tree loppers and/or work gloves if you have them.
  • Let us know if you can bring a pick-up truck.
