Coluimbia Shuswap Invasive Species Society AGM

You are cordially invited to attend the second Annual General Meeting of the Columbia Shuswap Invasive Species Society (CSISS).
Join us Wednesday, October 8th from 9:00 am -12:30 pm PT at the Revelstoke Community Centre to:
1) Learn about the latest in Bio-control with special guest Catherine MacRae
2) See what CSISS has been up to this summer
3) Help us review and revise our Regional Priority Plant List
Complimentary lunch will be provided with a Board of Directors meeting to follow.
There are currently a number of CSISS Board positions up for renewal. Board members may be elected for a two year term.
If you are interested in joining our board, would like to nominate a potential candidate or have any questions please reply to this e-mail and let us know.
We are currently looking for members to join our Board of Directors representing:
1) Agricultural interests
2) First Nations and Aboriginal groups
3) Industries with a vested interest in invasive species management
4) Various levels of government
5) Environmental and Conservation groups
6) Interested residents of the Columbia-Shuswap
