This year, the Snowball is on Saturday, January 16th and the funds raised are being donated to Green Action Centre, a non-governmental and charitable organization with programs focused on greening the lives of Manitobans at home, work and school.

Green Action Centre planted seeds for change 30 years ago; with strong roots in the community, they remain committed to providing environmental education and green solutions for everyday living. Their primary areas of work are green commuting, composting and waste reduction, sustainable living and resource conservation – greenactioncentre.ca
