Summary of Proposed Amendments to the BC Organic Matter Recycling Regulation (Webinar)

In 2011, the Ministry of Environment proposed amendments to the Organic Matter Recycling Regulation (OMRR) of the Environmental Management Act (EMA) and the Public Health Act. The regulation governs the construction and operation of composting facilities, and the production, distribution, storage, sale and use or land application of biosolids and compost. This webinar will provide you with the summary of the major proposed amendments and describe the next steps towards amending the regulation.
