Join Dr. Barry Irving from the University of Alberta as he speaks to carbon capture and forages and the current research in Alberta.

He will be followed by Grant Lastiwka from Alberta Agriculture & Forestry who will talk to pasture management, forages, carbon, and connecting the dots. He will speak to the big picture and why measuring carbon isn’t easy.

We will wrap up the afternoon with a field tour led by Dianne Westerland of the Chinook Applied Research Association who will show us the Foothills Forage Perennial Forages Trial which features 32 different varieties of forages.
