Prairie Conservation Forum Spring Meeting and Tour

June 28, 2017 - June 29, 2017

The June Prairie Conservation Forum meeting will be held at Shepard Community Hall in Calgary from 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm on June 28, 2017. Please note that this will be an afternoon meeting, so lunch will not be provided. The membership will have a chance to hear about two projects that PCF has been working on over the past year, including ‘Beneficial Management Practices for the Renewable Energy Industry’ and ‘Connecting Habitats in the Prairies’. The tour will be the next day, June 29th, with the meeting place at Ralph Klein Park at 8:30 am. We will have a chance to see the wetlands at the park, and will then travel to the Calgary Zoo’s Devonian Wildlife Conservation Centre in DeWinton for a tour of their breeding facility. After lunch (which will be provided), Cows and Fish will show us some examples of riparian restoration projects.

Please RSVP by Monday, June 26, 2017 by visiting this website to complete your online registration. If you have any difficulties, please contact me at info@albertapcf.org.
