• May 18-19, 2016. Salmon Arm, 9am-4pm, Okanagan College. This workshop will teach us about basic plant identification through recognizing common plant families (vs. species and genus) that are used in many guides. The workshop will review basic terminology and the use of plant identification ‘keys’ using fresh plants and features by which many plant families can be recognized. It is recommended for invasive plant field staff, biologists with an interest in plant identification, field technicians, and other interested participants
