With more than 100 years of mining history, prolific production in gold, copper and zinc, and its future role as one of the access hubs for the ‘Ring of Fire’, Timmins is an ideal location to host a national land reclamation conference! Join us in promoting the many varied accomplishments achieved in the field of reclamation and exploring the history and reclamation issues and achievements of the Timmins/Porcupine mining camp. The Timmins area is an important landmark in the history of mining and offers great examples of successful brownfield reclamation.
The conference will showcase two days of technical presentations and posters, short courses, a tradeshow, reclamation and student award presentations, and local field trips.

Call for Abstracts

Abstracts are encouraged on a variety of Reclamation/Remediation/Restoration topics, including but not limited to the areas indicated below. The deadline for submission is February 1, 2016.
