Prairie and Pollinator Restoration Workshop
CeRSER is proud to announce that we will be hosting
Prairie and Pollinator Habitat Restoration Workshop
on September 22, 2017, 11AM – 3PM at the Butterfly Pavilion in Westminster, CO.
The workshop, focusing on urban and suburban environments, will feature presentations by Jim Tolstrup (High Plains Environmental Center), Brian Kurzel (National Wildlife Federation), and Amy Yarger (Butterfly Pavilion).
Lunch, snacks, and beverages provided by CeRSER
Registration: $10 for CeRSER members; $20 for non-CeRSER attendees

Restoring and Establishing Native Open Space
Jim Tolstrup (High Plains Environmental Center) will present a detailed “how to” for HOAs, companies, or individuals interested in creating natural areas with restored native vegetation.
Wildlife Everyday: Connecting to Nearby Nature in Colorado
Brian Kurzel (National Wildlife Federation) will discuss engaging urban and suburban communities and citizens in wildlife and native gardening to improve pollinator habitat, manage water resources, and beautify urban environments.
Pollinator Habitat Restoration in Suburban Open Spaces
Amy Yarger (Butterfly Pavilion) will talk about how having a solid habitat restoration plan focused on native pollinators can allow wildlife to thrive in suburban and urban open spaces.
