High Park Fire and Low-Impact Living Pub Talk

September 28, 2013 @ 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm

$5

Join two panels of foresters, ecologists, and alternative energy specialists in exploring:

The High Park Fire: ecology, restoration, & effects on the Foothills watershed,

Homeowners efforts creating energy efficient/renewable energy living in these peaks to plains areas,

How these factors influence restoration and sustainable decision-making in our communities!

The High Park Fire Tour scheduled for this Saturday Sept. 28th has been changed to a pub talk panel discussion on fire, floods, and low-impact living, from 12-2pm this Saturday, Sept. 28th, at the Swing Station in La Porte, CO (just outside Fort Collins).  Due to the floods, roads for the High Park Fire Tour are not drivable. Fortunately, the Central Rockies chapter of SER was able to partner with the Northern Colorado Renewable Energy Society to present a joint panel discussion on ecology and restoration associated with the High Park Fire, as well as ideas for low-impact living and sustainable decision-making in our communities.

IMPORTANT: the cost of the event is $5/person, which includes lunch, O’Dell’s beverage, and panel discussion. What a deal!! RSVP and reserve a space online at:
