Advanced Planning and Measurable Outcomes: Restoration Success in Southern Colorado

David Chenoweth, President of Western States Reclamation Inc., will discuss a high stakes restoration project in southern Colorado that was done in conjunction with Colorado Springs Utilities (CSU). The project achieved 90% pre-disturbance restoration on  344 acres of pipeline right-of-way in a 2-year timeframe using a 7-step model. This model supports restoration success by setting up proper planning, management, and monitoring. David will be discussing the project in detail along with the team’s approach and challenges faced along the way.
