2017 HAR-CeRSER Conference
March 7 – 9, 2017
Colorado State University in Fort Collins.
The Central Rockies Chapter of the Society for Ecological Restoration and the High Altitude Revegetation Workshop are hosting a 2017 Conference. The goal of the conference is to enhance our understanding of restoration and revegetation in diverse ecosystems using a variety of methods. We will have three keynote presentations in addition to session presentations on a wide variety of topics.
Keynote topics and speakers:
- Can we manage for resilience? Making decisions about where and how to restore in a changing world. Dr. Katharine Suding, University of Colorado – Boulder
- New natures and mountain landscapes. Dr. Eric Higgs, University of Victoria
- Weed-suppressive bacteria: a new tool for restoration. Dr. Ann Kennedy, USDA Agricultural Research Service
