Lee Toomey is a naturalist currently living in Vermont. He works as an Environmental/Wetland Scientist for a consulting agency conducting wetland delineations, permitting, wildlife habitat assessments, and rare plant surveys. Lee came to the consulting field with over 10 years of experience in the environmental sector, including work on projects in urban agriculture, plant conservation, and floodplain restoration in the US and in Germany. Lee began his career in conservation with a BA in Environmental Studies and MS in Plant Biology from the University of Vermont, and a graduate certificate in Natural Resource Management from the Harvard Extension School.
