The Awards Committee will determine if an award in any category will be given, and will select the award recipient(s).  Awards will be presented at the SER-NE 2018 Conference on Friday, October 12, 2018.

For any questions regarding these awards, or for additional details about the conference, please contact the Awards Committee Chair.

2. SER-NE AWARD FOR A RESTORATION PROJECT.  To be awarded to a public, private, or non-profit ecological restoration project.  Preference will be given to projects implemented more than two, and less than ten, years ago, which has made a significant contribution to ecological restoration in the SER-NE geographical region.

3. LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD. For the recognition of an individual’s work to promote or implement ecological restoration in the northeastern United States, or for outstanding research in ecological restoration in the northeastern United States.

In addition to the awards listed above, it has been the Chapter’s privilege to recognize the important role of emerging professionals by presenting student awards at past conferences.  The Chapter will continue this tradition of providing student awards at the 2018 conference.
