{"id":5241,"date":"2017-09-24T17:16:31","date_gmt":"2017-09-25T01:16:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/serchapter2018.wpengine.com\/westerncanada\/?post_type=tribe_events&#038;p=5241"},"modified":"2017-09-24T17:16:31","modified_gmt":"2017-09-25T01:16:31","slug":"ward-creek-tod-creek-tributary-workparty","status":"publish","type":"tribe_events","link":"https:\/\/chapter.ser.org\/westerncanada\/event\/ward-creek-tod-creek-tributary-workparty\/","title":{"rendered":"Ward Creek (Tod Creek tributary) Workparty"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We are having a <strong>Ward Creek (Tod Creek tributary) workparty<\/strong> and would love your help!\u00a0We will be improving fish habitat by building several rock crests in the creek, providing a great lesson in rock crest building 101.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Date &#8211; Tuesday September 26<\/strong><strong><br \/>\nTime &#8211; 5:30 to 7:30 pm<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Meeting time and location &#8211; 5:20pm<\/strong> at\u00a0the<a href=\"http:\/\/peninsulastreams.us7.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u=106a46fdb0967f7e4bb074c6a&amp;id=3e90f2d838&amp;e=62f09d73c5\"> corner of West Saanich Road and Wallace Drive<\/a> (by the mail boxes, just beyond The Red Barn Market). At 5:30pm we will walk down to Ward Creek together. Look for our PSS sandwich board signs.<\/p>\n<p>There is no water in the creek so rubber boots aren&#8217;t necessary, but make sure to wear sturdy footwear as the terrain is uneven. Also, make sure to bring raingear, water, and clothes you don&#8217;t mind getting dirty.
