Birds are now easier to see since the deciduous trees have shed their leaves, there are fewer species present and they often occur in large flocks. \u201cIn fact, there may be more individual birds present within Calgary during the winter than in the summer months,\u201d said lifelong naturalist Gus Yaki, who, along with other experienced birding instructors, conduct these outings as a fundraiser for the Friends of Fish Creek.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Each outing is approx. 2.5 hours.
