Parking is available along St. David St.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How to Get to the Site<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Transit.<\/em>\u00a0To find out the best route from where you are, please go to\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.bctransit.com\/regions\/vic\/?p=2.list\">http:\/\/www.bctransit.com\/regions\/vic\/?p=2.list<\/a>. Or use the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.ca\/maps\/preview\">Google Maps<\/a>\u00a0option.<\/p>\n<p><em>Carpool.<\/em>\u00a0If you need a ride log into your Meet-up account, RSVP and leave a message at the bottom of this event page describing where you need a ride from.<\/p>\n<p><em>Cycling<\/em>.\u00a0You can also use\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.ca\/maps\/preview\">Google Maps<\/a>\u00a0to find a good cycling route.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Flow of Volunteer Activities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Meet at 9:30am for sign-in and introductions (please be on time!)<\/li>\n<li>Walk to site<\/li>\n<li>Move mulch and plant native plants<\/li>\n<li>Volunteer until 12pm and sign-out at the end<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What to Bring<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>If you&#8217;re under 19, you must bring a waiver form signed by a parent or guardian in order to participate.\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/files.meetup.com\/16465902\/GTC%20WAIVER%20FORM%20for%20parents%20-%20FINAL.pdf\">PLEASE DOWNLOAD FORM HERE<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Refillable water bottle<\/li>\n<li>Dress for the weather. Rain jacket\/pants if it rains and extra layers in case it is chilly.<\/li>\n<li>Long-sleeved shirt and long pants to protect you from thorny plants and ticks<\/li>\n<li>Clothing you don&#8217;t mind getting dirty and muddy<\/li>\n<li>Your own gardening gloves if you prefer them (we provide them otherwise)<\/li>\n<li>Sturdy, comfortable closed-toe shoes\/boots or gum boots<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>We will Provide<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Gardening gloves if you don&#8217;t have them<\/li>\n<li>Tools<\/li>\n<li>Refreshments at the break<\/li>\n<li>Instructions on what to do. You don&#8217;t need to have experience to participate!<\/li>\n<li>A fun experience to meet new people in a beautiful place.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>After the Work Party<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A volunteer letter will be emailed to you if you need to confirm your hours for school or another program<\/li>\n<li>Photos taken will be loaded up in a\u00a0<a
