Your organizing committee is still moving forward with conference planning for February 2021 in these uncertain times. We are hopeful that the pandemic will have run its course and travel restrictions will be lifted before our conference dates. We are looking forward to a time when we can gather and celebrate our mutual successes collaboratively in a spirit of mutual learning.
Through our work, we strive to leave ecosystems more resilient than we found them. Thank you for your perseverance and your patience. The resilience of our community of restoration practitioners, scientists, land managers, and conservation partners is an inspiration to us all.
Adapting Restoration Practices to a Changing Climate.
This conference will explore how we can increase restoration success in the face of rapidly changing climatic conditions. We will kick off the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration (2021-2030), by sharing knowledge, building partnerships, and engaging in discussion with restoration practitioners, scientists, land managers and conservation partners. We will investigate how we can adapt practices in order to more creatively and effectively respond to environmental challenges and altered disturbance regimes.
