The Native Prairies Association of Texas is hosting a visit to a rare 114-acre Silveus' Dropseed Prairie. The trip includes an on-site discussion of restoration techniques and a view of this remnant as a model of what a restored prairie should look like. Explore and ID native prairie plants and hear from experts how to restore your own prairie. Participants will receive free native seed packs and handouts on restoration and native prairie plants.

Meet betwen 7:30-8:30am at McDonalds in New Boston at 702 North McCoy Blvd (about 20 miles west of Texarkana and 150 miles east of Dallas on I-30).
