Founded in 1995, the Texas Chapter of the Society for Ecological Restoration is a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization dedicated to providing connectivity between individuals engaged in ecologically sensitive repair and management of ecosystems. Texas SER (TXSER) is one of 14 chapters worldwide of the Society for Ecological Restoration International (SER), which has members in 70 countries.
TXSER’s main activities include hosting an annual conference that rotates around the state and typically brings together about 125-200 restoration practitioners, students, land-owners, and academics, coordinating student chapters, providing student scholarships, hosting regional events, connecting our members to training opportunities, and celebrating restoration successes via annual awards.
