CeRSER 2017 Call for Election Nominations<\/strong><\/p>\n

It\u2019s that time of year again!\u00a0 The Central Rockies Chapter of SER would like to announce our call for Board of Director nominations.\u00a0\u00a0Please consider nominating yourself or a fellow member for these important positions<\/strong>\u2014yes, you may nominate yourself and are encouraged to do so! \u00a0We need to assemble a slate of candidates before April 11th<\/sup>\u00a0and hold an election by email in mid-April. \u00a0If you have questions about time commitments, job duties, etc., feel free to contact any of the current CeRSER Board of Directors for more info about duties and responsibilities (https:\/\/serchapter2018.wpengine.com\/centralrockies\/about\/board\/<\/a>).<\/p>\n

This year we have 4 positions up for election:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Vice President<\/strong>, term April 2017-2018\u2014in order to provide board continuity, this important position succeeds our current President, Brett Wolk.\u00a0 The Vice President\/President-elect shall assume the duties of the President in the absence or upon\u00a0the inability of the President to serve, and shall perform any duties assigned by the President. At the\u00a0end of the Brett\u2019s current term in spring of 2018, the President-elect shall assume the position of\u00a0President through spring of 2020.\u00a0 Interested in running for this position? \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Treasurer<\/strong>, term April 2017-2019\u2014the Treasurer is responsible for the receipt and disbursement of funds of the Chapter and shall submit financial reports to the Board of Directors at all Chapter meetings and an annual financial report at the end of the fiscal year.<\/p>\n

Student Rep (CSU)<\/strong>, term April 2017-2018\u2014Student Association representatives shall serve one-year terms, taking office upon election as determined by the Student Associations or upon election of their successors.<\/p>\n
