The construction effort, led by the Biohabitats Construction team, involved complex material staging, creek diversion, earth moving, fish and amphibian rescue, and extensive native plant installation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Special thanks to project partners <\/strong>Johnson Creek Watershed Council, Wolf Water Resources, and Aquatic Contracting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The Tour<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Led by Biohabitats Fish Biologist, Todd Alsbury, this field walk will explore Willamette River processes, the installation of large woody structures, and strategies for improving Salmonid habitat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Event Details<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Date<\/strong>: Saturday, February 21, 2026 12:00 &#8211; 2:00 PM<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Location<\/strong>: Milwaukie Bay Park, Milwaukie, OR<br>(<a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/place\/45%C2%B026'44.1%22N+122%C2%B038'42.8%22W\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">45.4455815, -122.6452182<\/a>)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Parking<\/strong>: Turn off SE 17th onto SE Lava Dr. Take the second left into the large parking lot.
