One speaker from Australia discussing conversion of nonnative pine plantations back to native eucalypt forest, one speaker from South America talking about monitoring and evaluating natural regeneration in tropical rain forest, and a speaker from North America talking about regenerating freshwater wetland sites.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>1.\u00a0<\/strong> <strong>Todd Dudley <\/strong>(from Tasmania, Australia) is President of Tasmania\u2019s North East Bioregional Network and has 40 years experience in on ground ecological restoration, particularly bush regeneration. Sara Sweet<\/strong>, a Stewardship Ecologist with The Nature Conservancy in California, has been managing habitat and researching plant communities at the Cosumnes River Preserve for over 1 been managing habitat and researching plant communities at the Cosumnes River Preserve for over 17 years.
