Many of these have emerged in the context of Indigenous-managed lands or farming landscapes. This allows us to speak about natural regeneration techniques and approaches (and their combinations) without conflation with reintroduction or with any existing methodologies or strategies.\u00a0 An example of this is the restoration intervention spectrum diagram on the &#8216;What is natural regeneration&#8217; page, which is taken from Edition 2.2 of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.seraustralasia.com\/standards\/home.html\">National Standards for the Practice of Ecological Restoration in Australia<\/a> (Standards Reference Group, SERA) which was developed in collaboration with 13 restoration non-profit groups.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>There are many terms used in different parts of the world to describe methods or strategies that focus on natural regeneration in restoration.\u00a0 All are compatible.
