We are proud to host the meeting in partnership with the Society for Ecological Restoration Midwest Great Lakes Chapter. This is a call for; presenters (speakers, posters, and reclamation films), exhibitors (vendors), and sponsors for the conference.<\/p>\n<p>Registration information:<\/p>\n<p>Registration information will be available in February 2022 at the conference website <a href=\"https:\/\/www.asrs.us\/conference-presentations\/\">(https:\/\/www.asrs.us\/2022-annual-meeting\/)<\/a>. Planned early registration fees for professional members are $400, and registration will be $150 for students. Registrations include entry to the Sunday evening welcome reception, the Awards Luncheon, and the Reclamation Film Festival.<\/p>\n<p>Call for speakers and poster presenters and reclamation videographers:<\/p>\n<p>Abstracts for oral and poster presentations and film descriptions will be accepted through January 21, 2022. Abstracts concerning all aspects of land and water reclamation\/restoration\/rehabilitation are welcomed. In addition to our technical divisions; Soils, Water, Vegetation, Wildlife, Technology, and Engineering and Construction.<\/p>\n<p>We are especially proud to have sessions dedicated to the following topics:<\/p>\n<p>Teaching Land Reclamation<br \/>\nPartnerships in Reclamation<br \/>\nUnmanned Aerial Vehicle Monitoring and Modeling<br \/>\nMine Waste Characterization and Remediation<br \/>\nPassive Treatment of Mine Drainage<br \/>\nRestoration-Specific Themes:<br \/>\nNovel Approaches to Native Vegetation<br \/>\nOptimizing Establishment of Vegetation<br \/>\nSoil Reclamation<br \/>\nReforestation<br \/>\nWatershed Restoration<br \/>\nReclamation for Community\/Recreation Reuse<\/p>\n<p>The conference will also include the Reclamation Film Festival; brief descriptions of reclamation films should be submitted by January 21, 2022. Student presentations, posters, and films are especially welcomed, and travel subsidies are available for student presenters. All speakers will be notified of abstract acceptance by February 4, 2022. Wireless internet is available at no charge, and electricity is available upon request for a nominal fee.
