Nature-Based Solutions and Restoration for Coastal Resilience Symposium \u2013 Deadline to submit an Abstract is January 21 <\/strong><\/h4>\n

TransCoastal Adaptations – Centre for Nature-Based Solutions<\/strong> and Coastal Zone Canada\u2019s Nature Based Coastal Solutions Community of Practice<\/strong>\u00a0are hosting this multi-day event in conjunction with the Society for Ecological Restoration – Eastern Canada<\/strong>. The Symposium will connect coastal practitioners, coastal engineers, natural and social scientists, professors, students, planners, politicians, and Indigenous groups.<\/p>\n

The Nature-Based Solutions for Coastal Resilience Symposium will be held from June 24-26, 2024<\/strong>, at Saint Mary\u2019s University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Bookending the event are 2 optional field trips (June 23, June 27), to view nature-based coastal adaptation strategies in action in Nova Scotia.<\/p>\n

This year, the Symposium will focus on sharing case studies and examples of nature-based solutions for coastal climate resilience in practice. For more information on the Symposium<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n

TransCoastal Adaptations – Centre for Nature-Based Solutions<\/strong> et Coastal Zone Canada’s Nature Based Coastal Solutions Community of Practice<\/strong> organisent cet \u00e9v\u00e9nement de plusieurs jours en collaboration avec la Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 pour la restauration \u00e9cologique \u2013 est du Canada<\/strong>. Le symposium r\u00e9unira des praticiens du littoral, des ing\u00e9nieurs c\u00f4tiers, des sp\u00e9cialistes des sciences naturelles et sociales, des professeurs, des \u00e9tudiants, des planificateurs, des politiciens et des groupes autochtones.<\/p>\n

Le symposium sur les solutions fond\u00e9es sur la nature pour la r\u00e9silience c\u00f4ti\u00e8re se tiendra du 24 au 26 juin 2024<\/strong> \u00e0 l’universit\u00e9 Saint Mary’s \u00e0 Halifax, en Nouvelle-\u00c9cosse.
