{"id":17,"date":"2025-09-01T11:21:19","date_gmt":"2025-09-01T01:21:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/chapter.ser.org\/australasia\/2023\/11\/27\/hello-world-copy-copy\/"},"modified":"2026-04-25T13:08:13","modified_gmt":"2026-04-25T03:08:13","slug":"hello-world-copy-copy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/chapter.ser.org\/australasia\/2025\/09\/01\/hello-world-copy-copy\/","title":{"rendered":"National Standards for the Practice of Ecological Restoration in Australasia &#8211; Edition 2.2a"},"content":{"rendered":"\r\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>What are the standards?<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>The Standards have been designed to encourage all restoration and rehabilitation projects in Australia to reach their highest potential.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>The Society for Ecological Restoration Australasia (SERA) and 17 partner organisations* have contributed to the development of the National Standards over a 8.5 year period &#8211; carefully considering the needs of all stakeholders.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><strong>How were they developed?<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>The drafting process involved multiple drafts, collectively worked on by the partners in consultation with hundreds of key stakeholders including agencies, researchers and industry organisations and individual practitioners.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Partners and Advisors<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>The SERA board&#8217;s Principles and Standards Reference group acknowledges the close collaboration of the following Partners and Advisors in the preparation of these standards:\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\r\n<li>Australian Association of Bush Regenerators (AABR),<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>Australian Institute of Landscape Architects (AILA),<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>Australian Network for Plant Conservation (ANPC),<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>Australian Seed Bank Partnership (ASBP),<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>Bush Heritage Australia (BHA),<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>Gondwana Link, Greening Australia (GA),<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>Indigenous Flora and Fauna Association (IFFA),<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>The Nature Conservancy (TNC) (Advisor),<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>Trees For Life (TFL),<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>Trust for Nature (TFN Vic) and WetlandCare Australia (WCA).<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Additional Partners who joined the project for Edition 2.2:<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\r\n<li>Great Eastern Ranges Initiative,<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>Landcare Australia Limited,<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>National Landcare Network and<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>Restore Australia<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<\/div><\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Where can I find the standards?<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>The <strong>National Standards for the Practice of Ecological Restoration in Australasia &#8211; Edition 2.2 <\/strong>can be viewed <a href=\"https:\/\/chapter.ser.org\/australasia\/national-standards-for-the-practice-of-ecological-restoration-australasia-2-2-pdf\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"277\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>What are the standards?
