DESCRIPTION:Applications for the SERA 2026 Awards are officially open. \nThese awards recognise excellence in ecological restoration across Australia\, with four categories open for entry: \n\nSERA Award for Ecological Restoration Excellence — Large Project (>50ha) — $1\,500\nSERA Award for Ecological Restoration Excellence — Small Project (<50ha) — $1\,500\nSERA Koonamore Student Award — $1\,000\nAlbert Morris Award for Outstanding Ecological Restoration presented jointly with Australian Association of Bush Regenerators (AABR) and Australian Network for Plant Conservation (ANPC)\n\nThere’s no SERA membership requirement and no application fee\, and previous finalists and winners are welcome to reapply. Applications are submitted via the conference portal\, using the same process as a conference abstract. \nWinners will be announced at the SERA 2026 Conference in Adelaide\, 19–21 October. \nApplications close 7 September 2026.
