{"id":180,"date":"2023-02-21T13:00:06","date_gmt":"2023-02-21T12:00:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/chapter.ser.org\/africa\/?p=180"},"modified":"2023-02-21T13:00:28","modified_gmt":"2023-02-21T12:00:28","slug":"faith-leader-environmental-advocacy-training","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/chapter.ser.org\/africa\/2023\/02\/21\/faith-leader-environmental-advocacy-training\/","title":{"rendered":"Faith Leader Environmental Advocacy Training (FLEAT) Zimbabwe II in Bulawayo &#8211; 21 to 23 March 2023"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">The Southern African Faith Communities\u2019 Environment Institute (SAFCEI) will be hosting their first <strong>Faith Leader Environmental Advocacy Training (FLEAT) Zimbabwe II<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>in Bulawayo<\/strong>\u00a0from\u00a0<strong>21 to 23 March 2023<\/strong>\u00a0and is inviting applications now.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">They are seeking applications from people of faith that live in Zimbabwe, particularly those in leadership in their faith institutions.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">SAFCEI will bring together faith leaders from across Zimbabwe to create an opportunity for faith-led eco-justice. Issues of water, land, biodiversity, gender, food, energy and climate justice will be on the agenda. Ethical actions for your faith community will be part of the workshop.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong>Please note that this training will be held in-person from 08:30 to 17:00 over three days.
